For example I have a license of staad.pro last 2012 and has expired on 2013 because I did not subscribed. Can I still use the software now or not? I'am willing to subscribe now, what am I going to do? or I can request an activation key to activate again the software?

What is the prognosis for getting the ability to cap licenses within Select? At the very least, we need the ability to see real-time the number of licenses that are in use. Why is it necessary to go to a third party vender to monitor Bentley license usage, when the information is available and was formerly provided from the Bentley license management tool?
The stock response of "it's for the benefit of the end-user" is really tired. End users don't want to generate surprise invoices for the company to have to pay! If I ask an end-user if they have a need for gINT Pro Plus, or STAAD.Pro Advanced Analysis, because they logged usage last week (and so we might get a "convenient" invoice next month), the response in invariably a confused apology and an explanation that they don't need the "plus" anyway - somehow it got innocently turned on.
I could go on and on about the one-hour bucket and unintentional, short-term usages, etc., etc.
But how about responding to customers who WANT to cap licenses?

I have been using my node locked MicroStation V8i for almost two years and now I have a problem with managing the license.
I use the Produce Activation Wizard with the non-Select node locked user -> I have activation key, use the server name and site activation key, enter my email address and so forth, then I get an error saying that I have no checkouts remaining for this product.
Indeed, in the License Checkout tab, there are no licenses available to be checked out.
But I am the only one ever using this computer and the software is not installed anywhere else, so I am scratching my head!
Any suggestions on how to fix this and what might be going wrong?

My computer crashed, so I got a new machine with Win 10. I have the CD for V 8.0, but when I installed it, it did not ask for a key code, so it will not run. It apparently looked to retrieve it from an earlier version. So, I tried to install an earlier version that normally asks for a key code, and it crashed because it apparently will not work with Win 10. How do I put the key code somewhere where V8.0 will recognize it and run?

Last two years we are using STAAD, But suddently those codes are expired within the pakage.
Other codes are not expired yet.

With Select membership, can I install Powerdraft v8i on a second computer at my account using the same email address?
I am very confused with the single license, multiple computer issue. I have ONE machine I run Powerdraft on 99% of the time. I am going on vacation and need access to files and possibility to make changes. I want to install Powerdraft on a laptop and use it while I am away.
Since the usage will not overlap, I will not be charged. Correct? I am a SELECT subscriber.

i already install the staad pro program. The result show just for trial 15 day only. now this program have expired date. How do I update my licensing information? what the step should i do?
I tried to transfer the Staad-Pro license from one system to other. But now in both the systems Staad-Pro is Working in trail Period. I tried to activate the license but it is showing as "No Checkout's remaining".

I had checked out a node locked licence to a machine which has since gone faulty and is in for repair. I installed Microstation on a temporary machine and activated it against the Select server. The licence isn't available to check out to the new machine.
Normally I only check the licence out for a period of a week, but this happened over 3 weeks ago which makes me suspect I may have checked it out for the default 365 days.
Is it possible to get the licence checked back in without having access to the original machine? I only have 3 days left on the trial period which I have been using so I'm starting to panic about getting stuck without any Microstation.
Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
I have installed PowerDraft V8i and activated using the 'Site Activation Key' provided by 'STUDENTserver', however each time I turn on my machine and start PowerDraft I am prompted to re-enter the activation details and the countdown for the trial period progresses towards the end of the timer (currently 9 days left!). When prompted I re-enter the activation details, which are accepted, but yet when I got to 'Utilities->License Management->Activation Status' it is indicated that I am still in trial mode?
Please can you advise as to steps to take so as to fully activate PowerDraft with the activation key so that I may avoid reaching the end of the trial period?

This is in regards to the Problem with our License of the STAAD Pro. V8i,
As we are a Non-Select license user since last 2 years, Since the period of time we haven’t face any problem nether on application part nor the licensing
but since last 2-3 weeks we are having a problem with the license of Staad Pro., i.e. users are unable to Check-in & Check-out the license from the Bentley licensing server (productactivation.bentley.com) we have total 8 no. of licenses,
Few weeks back we were able to login to the Portal of productactivation.bentley.com to manage licensing, but now its inaccessible, as it says
You must be a SELECT Site Administrator in order to login to the hosted SELECTserver
Kindly Help we are unable to use our existing 8 licenses of Staad Pro.

My firm has purchased the licenses for multiple Bentley products including SewerGEMS. But I am unable to access the download link for it. I have tried the 'software downloads' tab o the 'connect.bently. page. this opens the 'iWare' page. It does not display the 'software for hydraulic design'

I have users at our site including myself that every once in a while (more often for others) will receive the dialog from the Connection Client - Proxy server requires authentication:
The issue I have is that if I cancel the dialog and check the Connection Client dialog, it has no issues actually signing in. As for actual proxy management, our IT department uses a PAC file set within the Internet Options settings: proxy.delaware.gov/proxy.pac
We have never set the proxy settings within the Bentley Licensing Management Tools (LMT) in the past and I'm hoping that we never have to due to possible credential issues in the future. These settings seem to happen automatically right now which seems like the best way that this should work...I do not want my users to manually enter this data into the LMT since this could cause account lockouts in the future when the user needs to change their Domain account password.
Is there possibly a way in the future to suppress this dialog from showing?
I would like to ask how the STAAD Planwin license was used or activated on user machine. We received two email notification from SELECTserverOnline@bentley.com stating two users have utilized the license. I'm trying to restrict it from our hosted select server - checkout restriction but cannot find this license file from the list. See embedded images. How come there is an overage use of this license when it is not appearing on the list?
