i am a civil engineering student i need microstation at home to do assignments i tried to download it through the student forum using the school code that i was provided and it does not work it says the login information is incorrect?! even if i could be directed im downloading any microstation program it does not have to be the student version

Multiframe Student Licensing
Hi...I'm an architecture professor using Multiframe in my classes on structures for architects.
This semester I'm having a problem where some students are getting only a two day or 30 day trial license. This has never occurred in the past. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to which version of Windows is being used, and whether native or on a Mac with Boot Camp or Parallels. Some students are fine, but there are a small cluster having this problem.
Any ideas?

How to disable Microstation activation status popup window?
Hi everyone,
I am running a batch process that loads the data to a bunch of dgn files. The process opens dgn files one by one, writes the data and close it. I had an intention to run the batch for a week or so because of the amount of data I have to process. However there is one obstacle. They the computer date changes to a new day, the "activation status" pops-up window and everything stalls waiting for confirmation: activate/close. Completely useless message. How can I disable it?

30 Day Trial of Bentley SUDA Has Expired
I have been getting this error for quite some time now and just decided to do a full reinstall of Microstation and Geopak tonight. I am still getting the error. I am not even sure how I ended up signing up for the 30 day trial to begin with, but I would like this to stop popping up every time. Here are the error messages.
I dont need the license. But this is stopping me from using the stock functions of SUDA. Can someone help me resolve this issue?

License over usage charges?
I see this issue has been an ongoing concern for many users out there. My company has only 1 license and 1 user with power geopak installed on 2 computers.
I am being charged for an overage for last quarter. I could this to be valid if both my machines were running the software at the exact same time. However, I don't believe that to be the case - rather closed the software at one machine then opened on the other within the hour time frame. Seriously, being charged for an over usage!
The hour time frame measurement Bentley uses seems ridiculous and I do not understand why it was set to an hour, rather to some type of minute interval.
We (the users / Bentley clients) need to make Bentley understand this is an issue and need something resolved. As a user - I want control to determine when and if I need an additional license during high workload, rather than someone charging me for something that I may not have been aware of in the first place.
Disappointed with this license pool system completely.

Cannot activate my product (V8 XM - Powerdraft)
I have tried to activate my Licence for V8XM - Product Version: 08.09.04.51 but with no success:
I have run The Licence Management and Product Activation Wizaerd
I am no longer a Select user, but I have tried both with Select or non Select
I have entered my Site Activation Key for the product and it says that 'The Activation is Complete' and 'I can use the product. However after 15 minutes the program shuts down. I have sent a Service Request but had no reply yet.

Cannot Activate GEOPAK
I have the correct version of Geopak installed on my computer as well as Microstation V8i. I can open the 15 minute trial version of Geopak, but I am unable to activate the licence using the product activation wizard. Each time I go through the process and enter in all the information, it tells me that the licence activation failed. Anyone experience a similar issue?
Note: I am using the student licence.

The Response File corresponding to the following logs is not processed. Please Process it. If you do not have the response file, download the corresponding logs and then send them to Bentley to get the response file

Can SELECT Open Access and SELECT Agreement amended according to local country law?
Dear Support,
I received an email from one of our client that purchased Microstation Perpetual license last year and denied to sign the SOA and SELECT Agreement due to below reasons:
(a) We note that the agreement is governed under the laws of Ireland. We wish to highlight that in Malaysia, we generally prefer for the agreements to be governed under the laws of Malaysia since we are not familiar with laws of other jurisdiction. Is there any avenue for us to change the governing law for this agreement to laws of Malaysia?
(b) In the event of any dispute, the matters are to be referred to the arbitration in Dublin in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. Similar to our comment above, we generally prefer for matters to be referred to the arbitration in Malaysia for costs reason. Is there any avenue for us to change this to the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre of Arbitration?
Please advise if the SOA and SELECT Agreement to be amended according to their request,
This is issue already logged to SR 7000452731 and closed without any given response on December 2015,
Anyone out there can provide me with an answer?

Activation Bentley View V8i
Hello,
I have just downloaded Bentley View V8i software that is stated to be "free for use".
After the installation process, Activation Wizard appeared that says to choose an approach to Bentley Licensing: SELECT Server, NOT-SELECT user (it wants some XML or plaintext key when selected), or the only option that allows me to use the SW: Only trial version, without the license.
Is this software really free for use? If so, where could I download any license key, please?
Or, where should I register to obtain the SELECT license?

Access Denied message from SelectServer, License Management
I am receiving the error "Access Denied ", from the "SelectServer", "License Management", "Check out a License" site. For the pas several years I have used this page to renew the checkout of the STAAD-Pro licenses for our computers. We are NOT connected to the Internet.
Who can I contact to work out why the access rights have changed?

replacement licence
I have a perpetual licences for MicroStation V8 2004, Bentley Architecture and TriForma, these were stored on my old Laptop backed up on a floppy disk. My old laptop had HDD issues and I lost all my data along with my licences for the above software; new laptops/PCs don't have floppy drives!
How do I go about getting these licences re-issued, and is it possible to get an updated version(s) of the software I already have. I have tried contacting sales {SrvReqNo:[7000466053]} but I get asked to log onto the Bentley website, but I'm not sure why yet?

MicroStation Activation Issues
Hello! I have a user machine that is receiving a license expiration notice each morning he launches MicroStation. He selects Activate and the status window goes away. The next morning he launches MicroStation that same status window appears with the number of days remaining. When I access License Management it shows his license is Activated. I have also used the Send Logs Now a dozen times and everything appears to show as activated, but for some reason it's not connecting somewhere.

Bentley Group Policy (GPO)
Hi
I have setup many clients to use GPO to control their Bentley licenses. What I am looking for now is the ability to restict users access to applications, that they are not allowed to use.
As am example. IT want o create an image of a Disc. On the disc will be MS V8i, MS CE, ABD SS3, ABD SS5 and ABD SS6. Due to the way Bentley log their license usages, we do NOT want a user opening both MS V8i and ABD on the same PC.
I know most users will restrict this by uninstalling applications they do not want the users to use. However on large accounts, it is easier to create disc images which include ALL applications.
So there MUST be an option to STOP access to certain applications.

Upgrade from Ver 8i to 10
As a Open License subscriber, currently using V8i-SS3 - Am I allowed to install Ver 10 on the same workstation, and use both versions (not at the same time) - in order to take myself through a transitional learning phase?
