Bug activation OpenBuildings Designer Connect edition
Good morning,
I have a problem with Open Buildings Designer CONNECT Edition.
Randomly when i use the application I have a message that tells me the application is not activate and it will close in 2min.
I have a licence on my profile, I am connected to Bentley Connect, the product appear in my licencing tool.
Can someone tell me what to do to activate the product correctly or if the problem is elswhere (proxy...)

V8i ver 0811809.089 activation fails
V8i ver 0811809.089 SELECt series 4 is suddenly working in 15 minute interwals only.
Licencing detais tells: " Last connected 31 days ago". SELECTServer Serial Number 30000000131884. "
Test in Licencing management tools returns: "Select Server and activation key verified .
Appreciate any suggestions .

Batch configure Proxy. No LicenseToolCmd.exe found
We are trying to configure a batch file to process the proxy settings for our users, however the LicenseToolCmd.exe cannot be located on the computer and will not run. Do I need to download this LicenseToolCmd.exe from somewhere? Since the batch file is from this site I thought it would be located with the Bentley installed software as noted in the batch file paths.

I am trying to login to Bentley CONNECTservices to download Microstran, but there is an error when trying to login (it is for a different email address). The error occurs after agreeing to the user terms of service.
Please connect my new user profile so I can download Microstran or please send a link to download. I have a licence key to activate a trial version.

I recently acquired a license for Microstation, but couldn't activate it. My account doesn't recognize my email as an administrator.

CONNECT Edition Activation
Hello!
I am writing in connection with the Master I am studying with the company Structuralia (in Spain). In this Master we are going to use OpenBuildings Designer. We have been told to register in the STUDENTsever.
I have registered, and I got my activation key (the 29+ character code associated with my school).
Last month, in my computer, I could see the following:
One of your programs manager informed me:
"The activation key is not needed for activating the software. Instead, you need to login to CONNECTION Client for activation of the software. According to screenshot that you have shared, the product you have downloaded is already activated. By default, the product will run offline for 7 days without an internet connection, after that, you will need to sign in again to CONNECTION Client".
It has worked fine (every 7 days I had to enter the password to get access) until yesterday. I opened the software and I got the following message:
This message shows that the software is a trial and it will expire in 7 days.
Now, in the Licence Manager, I can see:
This picture shows that the software is a trial version. Last week, the same picture indicated:
How could I continue using the software?

Licenses Time Out
RamSteel keeps popup a message said "The Licenses for the programs listed below have timed out. you must quit from these programs." These message appears every 5 minutes or so.
please advice.

STRUCTURAL ENTERPRISE & ITS ATTACHED SOFTWARE
I would like to know the limited usage of (RAM) Connection Design in Structural Enterprise. I am wondering my Connection Design is incomplete, thus, my Design Work Flow is affected. I have to go out side the Work Flow and use LIMCON, it makes too long of design process. I am afraid if I check the box after RAM Connection in the license Configuration of STAAD PROV8i , I might be charged of over usage. I understand when you are in Structural Enterprise, connection design (RAM) is included. Infact, in 2017 the first year of my Structural Enterprise, i was able to use Connection Design completely, but now it is incomplete. I cant use the smart connection and other connection such as base plate etc. Please enlighten me.

ContextCapture License Activation Issue
Hi,
My company has commercial licenses for Context Capture, however I can not get it to activate, it is stuck on "Non-commercial" and this is not good as it is leaving "non-commercial" watermarks on orthophotos.
I am having this issue on a Windows 10 machine running ContextCapture Update 12.
I have tried to uninstall/reinstall ContextCapture. Running the Activation Wizard multiple times (and it reports that it has activated ContextCapture). Have also went into the License Manager Tool to send logs to the selectserver multiple times. None of these things will get CC Update 12 to recognize the commercial license.
I have successfully activated ContextCapture on another machine running Windows 7 and ContextCapture Update 10. I will not attempt to try Update 12 on this machine as this is the only working machine right now.
Anyone know what else I can do?

Open Roads Licence issue
HI,
I am working as a Senior design engineer in SMEC india Pvt Ltd. We have licenced version of MX road and we install the Open roads through "Open Roads Designer CONNECT Edition" but after the installation it shows it is Trial Version and I have attached the screen shot below can any one guide us how to get the full version of OPEN ROADS. Can any one guide us our IT or can u issue any PDF how to install the OPEN ROADS

Bug in Connection Client 10.00.15.11 and 10.00.15.11
Having recently updated from Connection Client 10.00.14.18 to 10.00.15.11 we experienced an error wherein Connect Edition products throw an error saying that Connection Client is not installed.
After updating Connection Client, products appear to work correctly for a while, but at random points, they will start throwing this error message: "This application requires the Connection Client to be installed on your computer. Please install Connection Client 10.0.11.x or higher. In the screencap below, you can see that Connection Client 10.00.15.12 is installed and logged in.
Upon further investigation, I found that Connection Client (although running), was no longer installed. All installed files for Connection Client were gone, the desktop icon was gone and the Windows Menu applications icon was gone. I tried reinstalling, but was met with the two options of "repair" or "uninstall." Selecting "repair" does not resolve the issue. After uninstalling, Connection Client can then be reinstalled.
After reinstallation, Connection Client functions normally for a while, and then starts throwing the error again.
We have determined that this is not caused by our anti-virus or anti-malware settings and appears to be something wrong with Connection Client.
We have advised everyone at our site to roll back to Connection Client 10.00.14.18 until the issue is resolved.
10.00.14.18 does not exhibit this error. Bentley reports that they are unable to reproduce the error in 10.00.15.12. Even if there is an anti-malware or anti-virus function that is somehow hard deleting Connection Client without logging any information about the action, this indicates to me that there has simply been a change in Connection Client between 10.00.14.18 and 10.00.15.11 that causes Connection Client to trigger this sort of behavior in our security settings.

MS U10 and OBD U5 co-installation
Hi,
I've got a computer in our office with MS U10 (10.10.00.23) installed and it seems that still using SelectServer licencing. When I installed OBD U5, the licensing tool says OBD is activated
But starting OBD U5 gives me the error of expired trial.
Does that mean MS U10 is not compatible with OBD U5?

MicroStation V8i and CONNECTserver
Since support for SELECTserver is going away July 1, 19, can I still run MicroStation V8i (08.11.09.357) using CONNECTserver? Same question for Descartes and IPLOT and IPLOT Server and drivers.
